Description

A refreshing summer salad featuring sweet peas, crispy bacon, and creamy dressing that captures the essence of summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients: In a large bowl, blend the green peas, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and finely chopped red onion.
  2. Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Toss the salad: Gently pour the dressing over the pea mixture and toss delicately.
  4. Chill: Transfer the salad to the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
