- 1 package Lil Smokies sausages
- 1 cup pineapple preserves
- 1–2 jalapeños, diced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the pineapple preserves, diced jalapeños, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium saucepan.
- Stir it all together and heat over medium flame until warmed through and well mixed.
- Add the Lil Smokies to the saucepan, stirring to coat each sausage in the sauce.
- Allow to continue cooking for about 5-10 minutes until heated through and flavors meld.
- Serve warm on a platter with toothpicks for easy eating.
Notes
Make the sauce a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator. You can also use an air fryer for quick cooking.
