Description

A creamy, luscious homemade ice cream made with sweetened condensed milk that captures the essence of summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional mix-ins: chocolate syrup, peanut butter, crushed Oreos, or swirls of caramel

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and the vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Whip the heavy cream in another bowl with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk mixture gently using a flexible spatula.
  4. Add any desired mix-ins and fold gently to incorporate.
  5. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, smoothing the top.
  6. Cover and freeze for at least 240 minutes or until firm.
  7. Scoop and enjoy your homemade ice cream with desired toppings.

Notes

For optimal texture, prepare a day in advance and let it freeze overnight. Experiment freely with mix-ins for creative flavors.
