Description

A fiery and flavorful dish featuring succulent chicken in a spicy Szechuan sauce with vibrant vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 34 tablespoons Szechuan sauce
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the diced chicken, spreading it out for even cooking. Let it sear for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic and ginger for 1 minute until aromatic.
  4. Introduce the sliced onions and bell peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften.
  5. Pour the Szechuan sauce over the chicken and vegetables, mixing well.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes to heat through and meld flavors.
  7. Finish with salt and pepper to taste, garnishing with fresh green onions.

Notes

This dish offers room for customization by adding other vegetables or adjusting the Szechuan sauce for less heat.
