Description

Delicious turkey meatballs that are healthy, flavorful, and perfect for family gatherings or weeknight meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if you plan to bake your meatballs or prepare your slow cooker if you prefer the slow cooking method.
  2. Combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly but gently.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Arrange the meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. If using a slow cooker, lay the meatballs in the bottom and cover with marinara sauce. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  5. Serve with pasta, rice, or a fresh salad.

Notes

Meatballs can be frozen and cooked straight from the freezer. For a quicker option, consider using an air fryer.
