Description

A refreshing summer cocktail featuring sweet watermelon, zesty lime, and a kick of tequila.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, blended
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup (optional)
  • Salt for rimming glasses
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Blend the fresh watermelon: Cut the watermelon into chunks, remove any seeds, and blend until smooth.
  2. Mix the cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine the blended watermelon, tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup. Add ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
  3. Prepare your glasses: Rim each glass with lime juice and dip into salt. Fill the glasses with ice.
  4. Pour the mixture: Strain the watermelon margarita into the prepared glasses.
  5. Garnish and serve: Finish with a lime wedge on the rim, and serve immediately.
