Description

These warm, golden cookies meld rich flavors of buttery goodness and indulgent chocolate in a chewy delight.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt together until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time.
  5. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
  7. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
