Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Crack in the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Pour in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour and baking powder in another bowl, then gradually add it to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Divide the batter in half and fold cocoa powder into one half.
- Pour spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter alternately into the prepared pan to create the zebra pattern.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
