Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
  3. Cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one by one, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until well mixed.
  6. Divide the dough into bowls and add food coloring, kneading until vibrant.
  7. Roll tablespoon-sized balls with different colors and squish together to form swirls.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until firm to the touch but still soft inside.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before enjoying!

Notes

You can prepare the dough a day in advance and refrigerate for better flavor. Use an air fryer for a chewier texture.
