Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Whisk together 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon of instant yeast, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a large bowl.
  2. Pour in 1 1/2 cups of warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place your Dutch oven inside.
  5. Flour a clean surface generously and gently shape the risen dough into a round loaf.
  6. Remove the preheated Dutch oven and place the shaped dough inside, then cover it and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover and continue to bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for about 30 minutes before slicing.
